Biological Systems and Organisms
Since December 2019, I’m coordinating an international joint project between China and Mongolia that carrying out research on biodiversity and grassland ecosystem multifunctionality and also the coordinator of a long-term vegetation community project at the laboratory of vegetation ecology and plant resource of BGRI, MAS.
Publications resulting from Research:
As the first-authored ecological papers in high-impact journals, i.e. Soil Biology and Biochemistry (DOI: 10.1111/1365-2435.13559) and Functional Ecology (DOI: 10.1016/j.soilbio.2018.06.013) that focusing on effects on UV radiation and litter quality, and leaf litter decomposition; and another one is focusing on woody decomposition in semiarid inland dunes. Since woody plants have been establishing in many dryland ecosystems where their effects on carbon cycling are poorly known. This work demonstrates how wood decays differently in this dryland compared to mesic sites.
