Current Research Activities
Biological Systems and Organisms
My research area includes the epidemiology of tropical vector borne diseases, especially Schistosomiasis, Malaria and Filarial diseases. I am also working on Soil Transmitted Helminthiasis (STH) as they are mostly found with Schistosomiasis and sharing common epidemiological statues. I am especially interested on actualizing the epidemiological status of these parasites by mapping, identify the reasons of their persistence and find innovative alternative strategies to accelerate the elimination process. I am currently focussed on the development of innovative strategies to tackle Neglected Tropical Diseases and accelerate their elimination especially vector borne diseases as public health problem in Cameroon.
