In the last three years, I have majored in the Agricultural research space where I have been actively involved in an internationally sponsored research that birthed an application called ‘KasuwaGo’ (available on play store). This application is a virtual marketplace for food grains (such as rice, beans, guinea corn, soybeans, groundnut, maize, millet and so on) where buyers meet sellers and they transact from all over Nigeria. The main aim of the project is to link people from food deficit areas to people in food surplus areas in order to prevent or at least reduce post-harvest loss through the use of information technology.
