• Associate Professor in Phytochemistry and Plant Systematic Department, pharmaceutical industry research division, National Research Center, Cairo, Egypt and a member of Plant Molecular Genetics and Plant Biotechnology Group, Center of Excellence for Advanced Science and Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology Division, National Research Center,
I hold a Master’s and PhD in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in the Section of Neuromedical Science, Division of Bioscience, Institute of Natural Medicine, University of Toyama, Japan. I have extensive practical experience in various molecular biology techniques, such as PCR and Western blotting, as well as excellent proficiency in natural product chemistry. I am skilled in using HPLC, NMR, and LC/MS for organic chemistry applications, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
I am currently working as an Associate Professor in the Phytochemistry and Plant Systematics Department at the Pharmaceutical and Drug Industry Research Institute, National Research Centre, Egypt. Throughout my career, I have been involved in numerous national and international research projects, both as a team member and principal investigator. I have published many research papers in high-impact international journals, reflecting my dedication to advancing scientific knowledge.
