About me
Prof. Manal Eid has worked on Egypt's higher education quality assurance and accreditation systems. To that purpose,
she received a credential from the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education for the Train-the-Trainer initiative. She is also
certified in higher education institution self-evaluation, learning outcomes and curriculum mapping, and external
review. She has visited international universities such as the University of Ghent in Belgium and Wageningen University
& Research in Holland and international organizations such as CAS-TWAS Centres of Excellence (CoEBio and ICCES in
China) and ICRISAT in India, IFPRI in the USA, ILRI in Kenya, COMSTECH & COMSTATS in Pakistan, UNESCO-ICTP in Italy,
UNESCO-ISTIC in Malaysia, and Sida in Sweden
