About me
Nita Mennega is a lecturer at the Department of Informatics at the University of Pretoria. After receiving her BSc and BSc Honours degrees at the University of Pretoria and Rhodes university respectively, she worked in industry as a programmer for over 2 decades. During this time she completed her Masters and then decided to move into academia, obtaining her PhD at the University of Pretoria and is now teaching undergraduate programming courses. She is interested in the topics of Digital skills acquisition and diversity in the Information Technology workforce.
