National workshop on Advancing Women in STEM: Opportunity, Equity, Entrepreneurship, and Well-Being

The national workshop on Advancing Women in STEM: Opportunity, Equity, Entrepreneurship, and Well-Being was successfully held on 26th March 2026, bringing together inspiring minds and passionate voices committed to fostering inclusivity and growth in science and technology. Jointly organized by SLNC-OWSD and SLAAS, in collaboration with CRDI, the Commonwealth Alumni Association, CGEE, and NASSL, the event created a dynamic platform for female students and early-career academics across Sri Lanka.
With insightful sessions led by distinguished resource persons including Prof. Vajira H.W. Dissanayake, Dr. Hermali Silva, Prof. Praba Manuratne, Mrs. Gayani de Alwis, and Prof. Wasantha Gunathunga, participants gained valuable perspectives on leadership, equity, entrepreneurship, and well-being in STEM fields.
