Vision 2026-OWSD Sri Lanka-Leadership RoundTable
On 7th March 2026, the SLNC–OWSD successfully hosted the Vision 2026 Leadership Roundtable, bringing together senior scientists and council members for an engaging and forward-looking discussion. The roundtable focused on shaping the strategic direction of SLNC–OWSD towards 2026, with meaningful dialogue on strengthening leadership, advancing science, and empowering women in the scientific community.
Key areas of discussion included:
Developing a strategic action plan for 2026 aligned with national priorities and global OWSD goals.
Expanding partnerships, visibility, and policy influence to further support women in science.
The interactive exchange of ideas, experiences, and perspectives helped lay the foundation for a bold and actionable roadmap that will guide SLNC-OWSD initiatives in the coming years.
