Workshop on Financial Literacy for Women Entrepreneurs titled “හැකියාවට අත්වැලක්: කාන්තා ව්යවසායිකාවන් සඳහා මූල්ය සාක්ෂරතාව

The workshop titled “නැගී සිටින්නට අත්වැලක්: කාන්තා ව්යවසායිකාවන් සදහා මූල්ය සාක්ෂරතාවය” was successfully held on 14th January 2026 at the UCFM Tower, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. The workshop aimed to strengthen financial literacy and decision-making skills among women entrepreneurs, equipping them with essential knowledge to sustainably grow their ventures and confidently navigate financial challenges.

This impactful program was jointly organized by the Sri Lanka National Chapter of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (SLNC-OWSD) and the National Science Foundation (NSF), in collaboration with the Center for Research Development & Innovation (CRDI), Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, and the Department of Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. This activity helped to continue SLNC-OWSD to empower women through knowledge, collaboration, and opportunity.
