Awareness Caravan for Siwa Women on the Sidelines of the International Conference
“Sustainable Development Goals 2030: Assessment – Development – Innovation”

On the sidelines of the International Conference “Sustainable Development Goals 2030: Assessment – Development – Innovation,” the OWSD–Egypt Chapter organized a community awareness caravan for women in Siwa Oasis, focusing on environmental health and sustainable practices.
The caravan aimed to educate women about the dangers of plastic use, Healthy food and rooftop farming. its impact on health and the environment safe, sustainable alternatives that support the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The initiative was warmly received by the women of Siwa, who actively engaged in the sessions and shared their own experiences and local perspectives. The caravan reflects the OWSD–Egypt Chapter’s commitment to extending the conference’s impact beyond scientific sessions, reaching local communities and empowering women with knowledge that enhances environmental awareness and promotes sustainable behavior.
