Call for Nominations – OWSD Ecuador National Chapter Executive Committee (2026–2028)
The OWSD Ecuador National Chapter is pleased to announce the opening of the nomination period for the election of its Executive Committee for the 2026–2028 term.
We warmly encourage all eligible members to participate in this democratic process by submitting their candidacy and contributing to the continued growth and development of the Chapter. Serving on the Executive Committee offers an opportunity to strengthen the visibility of women in science, promote collaboration across disciplines and institutions, and support initiatives that advance the mission of OWSD in Ecuador.
Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Be an OWSD Full Member at the time of nomination.
- Meet the requirements established in the election call.
Voting rights are reserved for OWSD Full Members, in accordance with the OWSD Constitution.
Key Dates
- Call for nominations opens: 16 July 2026
- Nomination deadline: 8 August 2026
- Publication of eligible candidates: 12 August 2026
- Campaign period: 12 August – 10 September 2026
- Electronic voting: 14 September 2026
- Announcement of results: 21 September 2026
- Beginning of the new Executive Committee term: 21 October 2026
