Ella Innova en Ciencia LAC: Regional Call for Women’s Leadership in Science and Innovation

The Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), in collaboration with the International Science Council (ISC) Regional Focal Point for Latin America and the Caribbean, is launching “Ella Innova en Ciencia LAC”, a regional initiative to recognize and promote innovative solutions led by women in science, technology, and innovation across Latin America and the Caribbean.

This call seeks to highlight projects with demonstrated impact—scientific, technological, social, environmental, educational, or productive—that are already in operation and led by women working in STEM, innovation, sustainability, health, education, or related fields.

Eligibility

• The initiative is open exclusively to OWSD national chapters in Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Only OWSD LAC chapters may submit applications (up to three per chapter).
• Individual submissions will not be considered.

The selected proposal will receive a USD 500 award, and finalist initiatives may be featured through OWSD and ISC communication channels.
