Elections open for OWSD Executive Board

Applications are now open for the OWSD Executive Board.

 

Elections for the OWSD Executive Board will be held from May-July 2021, and applications for the Board will be welcomed from 15 March through 7 April. 

 
For the first time in OWSD's history, the voting process for selecting new OWSD executive board members will be entirely online. This means that the highest possible number of OWSD Full members can participate in the voting process.
 
All information needed to prepare an application is available on the Call for Applications page, including descriptions of the roles and duties and the skills and experience that are needed for the different positions.
 
Full OWSD members with PhDs can apply for any of the positions—and all Full OWSD members (including those with MScs) can vote. If you enjoy connecting with OWSD members in your region and around the world, if you are proud to be an OWSD member and are passionate about OWSD's mission, and if you have some time and a lot of positive energy we encourage you to apply!
 
Please note that only ONLINE submissions through the website will be accepted (although a sample downloadable form is provided for your information and preparation).
