First Meeting of Women Scientists with Women Entrepreneurs

March 8 we held the event: "First Meeting of Women Scientists with Women Entrepreneurs".
As a closing to the activities carried out in a month dedicated to women in science, on March 8 we held the event: "First Meeting of Women Scientists with Women Entrepreneurs". This event was developed in alliance with the Women Economic Forum, WEF Colombia 2024, and Ean University. The WEF 2024 was held on March 6, 7 and 8, and thanks to the collaboration established with the WEF women entrepreneurs, the OWSD Colombia had the opportunity to close the event with the proposed event to integrate women scientists with entrepreneurial women.
Our event took advantage of the WEF audience, and our participants had the opportunity to make visible their work as scientists: Dra Yenny Avila, Dra Dora Tobar, Dra Nayda Arias, Dra Erica Carmona, Dra Yudy Tibaduiza, Dra Karen Corredor; and as entrepreneurs: Dra Susana Fiorentino, Paula Fierro, Angelica Duque, Dra Hannia Bridg, Dra Lizeth Pedraza, Doctoranda Lida Fonseca.
This collaboration allowed our members of the OWSD Colombia to connect with delegates from the diplomatic missions of Panama, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Peru, Jamaica, Denmark, Belarus to establish alliances and promote the creation of national chapters of the OWSD in Panama and Costa Rica. During March 7 and 8, the members of the Executive Committee of the OWSD Colombia carried out networking activities to promote the role of women scientists in Colombia.
