Senegal's Choice: Professor Ndeye Arame BOYE

The inspiring scientist chosen by the OWSD Senegal Chapter is a rare find. She is a model woman who has been involved in the fight for the advancement of women and girls in STEM for years.Full Professor of Universities, Department of Physics at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of the University Cheikh Anta DIOP in Dakar (Senegal), Ms. Ndeye Arame BOYE FAYE is the first woman professor in the Department of Physics, also the first woman to graduate in Nuclear Physics. Our completed model of woman scientist is now Director-General of the Senegalese Authority for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety. Professor NDEYE Arame BOYE FAYE is the pride of Senegal, Africa, and the world.
