OWSD invites you to celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science by joining the #IAdmire campaign

Use the #IAdmire hashtag to tell us which women scientists have inspired you.

In celebration of the United Nations International Day of Women and Girls in Science, February, 11, OWSD is once again asking our members, friends, and the world to tell us about the women in science who have inspired them. 

Through February 11, post on any social media platform (Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram) using the hashtag #IAdmire to let us know about one (or more!) of these exceptional women. Keep in mind that this does not need to be a famous scientist - you might be inspired by a professor, a colleague in your lab, a collaborator, a student - anyone who you think deserves to be recognized!

OWSD will be sharing your contributions on our own social media accounts as well, so don't forget to include the hashtag to make sure we see it. You can also include the hashtag #IDWGS. 

We look forward to seeing another round of amazing women in science!
