OWSD Pakistan: ONCOSAFE - Safeguarding Innovation in Breast Cancer and Biorisk Management

The OncoSafe seminar, "Safeguarding Innovation in Breast Cancer and Biorisk Management," was held in collaboration with Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), University of Karachi and Pakistan Biological Safety Association (PBSA) at KIBGE on October 31, 2024, gathering participants for an insightful exploration of breast cancer advancements and safety in research.

Renowned oncologist Dr. Ghulam Haider led discussions on the latest innovations in breast cancer care, while Prof. Muhammad Asif Qureshi, an expert in cancer immunology and personalized medicine, provided a comprehensive look at biorisk management practices. The session also featured a moving talk by breast cancer fighter Ms. Shumaila Samad Khan, a lecturer at the University of Karachi's Biotechnology Department, sharing her inspiring journey and resilience. The seminar concluded on a high note, leaving attendees motivated and more equipped to face the future of breast cancer research with confidence!
