The OWSD - Egypt Chapter has organized a workshop on the sidelines of the celebration of The International Day of Woman and Girl in Science on Monday 9/2/2026 entitled “An Overview of the Challenges Facing Women in Science". The first speaker was Prof. Mervat Foda, the Chair of OWSD – Egypt chapter, who talked about some ofthe challenges are facing women in science at National Research Centre as Case study.
The second speaker was Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, former mental training teacher at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Capital University, who gave a lecture entitled "Me and those around me ".
