Third National Women in Science Symposium

The National Chapter of the Organization of Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) in Honduras, established in 2020, aims to promote gender equity in science through professional networking, capacity building, and dissemination of scientific knowledge. Among our outstanding activities are the organization of workshops, seminars and events that make visible the contributions of women in STEM and Social Sciences.

In the framework of the “International Day of Women and Girls in Science”, we are organizing the joint event “Third National Women in Science Symposium” in collaboration with the IUPAC GWB2025 Global Women's Breakfast. This event will be held on February 11, 2025 in person at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy at the National Autonomous University of Honduras and virtually for remote participants.
