OWSD Pakistan: Celebrating the International Women's Day 2025 (virtual)

The OWSD Pakistan National Chapter celebrated this International Women's Day by sharing video messages from two notable and inspiring women of Pakistan.

The first message is from Prof. Huma Baqai who is the Rector of Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship. She is also a scholar, reviewer, author and has discuses global, domestic, and social issues of Pakistan. Prof. Baqai shared her journey and contributions as a women in the society.

The second message is from Prof. Zahra Hasan who is a distinguished professor at Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi. She specializes in molecular pathology and infectious diseases, with a focus on tuberculosis. Her insights and experiences serve as an inspiration to women and girls aspiring to make their mark in the scientific community.
