OWSD Pakistan: Neurological Manifestations of COVID-19

Covid pandemic has become more than just a health concern. There are many misconceptions related to neurological concerns associated with Covid-19. Keeping this in view, OWSD PNC organized a virtual lecture session on “Neurological Manifestations of Covid-19”. The lecture was the part of OWSD Pakistan lecture series “Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in Pakistan” (5th lecture of the series).
The guest speaker of the session was Dr Huma Ikram. Dr Huma did her PhD from the department of biochemistry, the University of Karachi and currently she is serving as Assistant Professor at the department of biochemistry, University of Karachi. Dr Huma Ikram is also an executive council member of the OWSD Pakistan national chapter.
The program was conducted virtually on Microsoft Teams due to pandemic restrictions. The guest was introduced by Dr Sitwat Zehra (Treasurer, OWSD PNC). At the end of the session, an interactive Q&A session was conducted. Dr Saima Saleem (Secretary, OWSD PNC) concluded the session by extending her gratitude towards the speaker, organizing team and media coordinators of OWSD PNC.
