About me
Why do our cognitive abilities decline as we age?
To tackle this question, I investigate the brain networks responsible for cognitive and behavioral changes in aging and pre-dementia stages. My research employs advanced brain connectivity measures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), coupled with precise cognitive and behavioral tools.
Currently, my work focuses on understanding visual attention and scene memory deficits in individuals with subjective cognitive decline and patients with mild cognitive impairment, aiming to identify early markers of cognitive deterioration.
I strive to contribute to early detection strategies and interventions in aging-related cognitive decline by bridging cognitive and clinical neuroscience.
