About me
Alejandra Torres, Ph.D. is a Tenured Professor in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Escuela Politécnica Nacional (EPN), Ecuador. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Mechanics and Aeronautics. Her research focuses on mechanical design, energy systems, intelligent mechatronic systems, green hydrogen, computational modeling, and artificial intelligence applied to engineering. She has contributed to multidisciplinary research projects and international collaborations, with publications in high-impact journals. Her current work integrates advanced engineering, digital technologies, and sustainable energy solutions to address industrial and societal challenges.
