About me
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Energy Institute, Istanbul Technical University, Türkiye, and an Assistant Professor of Physics at Bacha Khan University, Pakistan. I received my PhD in Laser Engineering from Beijing University of Technology, China. With over 15 years of teaching and research experience, I have supervised more than 39 undergraduate and postgraduate research students. My research focuses on materials science, density functional theory (DFT), lead-free perovskite materials, renewable energy, and laser. I have published extensively in international journals and serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed scientific journals.

I received my PhD in Laser Engineering from Beijing University of Technology, China, in 2019, where my research focused on ultrafast laser interactions with matter and laser induced phenomena.
I have more than 15 years of teaching, research, and academic service experience in higher education. Throughout my academic career, I have taught undergraduate and postgraduate physics courses and supervised more than 39 undergraduate and postgraduate research students. I am committed to mentoring young researchers and fostering scientific curiosity among students, particularly encouraging women's participation.
My current research focuses on materials science, density functional theory (DFT), electronic structure calculations, lead-free double perovskites, thermoelectric materials, and renewable energy applications. My work aims to design environmentally friendly materials for next-generation solar cells, energy conversion, and sustainable technologies.
I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in international journals and has presented my research at international conferences. I serve as a reviewer for several international journals in physics, materials science, and energy research, contributing to the advancement of high-quality scientific publishing. I have also held academic leadership responsibilities, including serving as Head of the Department of Physics at Bacha Khan University Charsadda, Pakistan. Through my research, teaching, international collaborations, and professional service, I strive to advance sustainable energy materials while promoting excellence, diversity, and the active participation of women in science and engineering.
