About me
Since 2013, I have worked as a university lecturer, and in 2018, I assumed responsibilities in educational administration as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law at a private university in Guatemala. This trajectory has allowed me to understand education from the perspectives of student, teacher, and administrator, and to strengthen my conviction that education is a fundamental pathway for accessing other rights.
My doctoral research focused on cases involving violations of the right to education in Guatemala, including litigation scenarios, mechanisms for its enforcement, jurisprudential criteria, and the conditions necessary for the effective application of educational regulations in defense of students. I continue to develop this line of work with the aim of providing specialized knowledge on educational legislation and practical strategies to prevent and manage conflicts within the educational sphere
