About me
Prof. Ashraf M. Hassan was the head of pretreatment and finishing of cellulose based fabrics (2016- 2022), Professor of textile chemistry and technology, Textile Research and Technology Institute, National research Center, Cairo, Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. from Ain Shams University, 2003 in organic chemistry. He is working on pretreatment and finishing of cellulose based textiles, Medical textile applications, Nanotechnology; Synthesis, Characterization and Utilization of Metallic Nanoparticles and its Application as Antimicrobial finishing agent for cellulose based textiles, chemical modifications of Biopolymers, Advanced drug delivery system and Flame Proofing. He spent several periods in laboratories abroad, Germany, USA, Czech Republic and Poland. Teaching organic chemistry in ain shams university 6 years.
