About me
I am a Guatemalan scientist with over 5 years of research experience. My research explores how isotopes can be used to understand past and present climate, the carbon cycle, and adaptation strategies. I am especially interested in coastal ecosystem restoration and soil processes, with a focus on how these systems respond to environmental change. My work combines field observations, geochemical tools, and interdisciplinary approaches to better link climate science with ecological processes and local resilience in vulnerable regions.
