pharmacist Bridget Phiri

About me

I am a practicing hospital pharmacist at Levy Mwanawasa UTH and a master's student in applied behavioral research methods at the University of Zambia. I have a strong interest in the intersection of clinical practice and research. Additionally, I am currently interning at the Center for Promotion of Literacy in Sub-Saharan Africa as a research assistant.

My clinical practice is informed by a deep commitment to scientific rigor and translational research. I currently work under the antiretroviral (ART) pharmacy as the departmental pharmacist at Levy Mwanawasa UTH and also work as an intern research assistant at the Center for Promotion of Literacy in Sub-Saharan Africa, which is a research center. Through my years of service, I have seen how research can be leveraged to strengthen healthcare systems and optimize patient care. This led to my persuasion of a master's in research methods. My work is grounded in evidence-based medicine, and I am particularly passionate about advancing patient-centered care.
