I am a Honduran journalist and communication specialist currently serving as Head of Communications at the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH), Campus El Paraíso. In this role, I lead strategies focused on science communication, education, and community engagement. I hold a Master’s Degree in Strategic Planning in Advertising and Public Relations from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), where I strengthened my skills in institutional communication, strategic planning, and digital media management.
Throughout my career, I have worked on projects aimed at promoting media literacy, ethical communication, and transparency within public institutions. My research interests focus on the intersection between artificial intelligence, journalism, and digital ethics, exploring how emerging technologies influence information quality, institutional credibility, and the creation of more informed and sustainable communities.
Beyond my professional responsibilities, I volunteer with the Rosalila Folkloric Dance Group at the university, an experience that allows me to share my country’s cultural heritage and foster identity, inclusion, and community among students and staff. I believe that communication, education, and culture are key pillars for building more equitable, inclusive, and resilient societies.
