About me

I explore the intersection of technology and human factors in socio-technical contexts, with a focus on digital transformation and the role of information systems in addressing organizational and institutional challenges. My work combines applied research and collaboration with public and private organizations to improve processes and technology adoption in areas such as health, education, and public management. Beyond research, I am committed to academic mentoring and capacity building: I teach at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, supervise master’s thesis projects, and serve as a doctoral dissertation advisor.

Diana Arce Cuesta earned a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the Salesian Polytechnic University, Ecuador (2011), and a Master’s degree (2015) and a Ph.D. (2019) in Informatics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil.
