About me

Dr. Ragaa Fikry Fathy is a postdoctoral researcher at the National Research Centre (NRC), Egypt. She holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Biochemistry, Cairo University, with a specialized focus on aquatic biology. Her research expertise lies in investigating the physiological and behavioral impacts of environmental pollutants on fish, including microplastics and climate change. Dedicated to advancing biodiversity and sustainability. She has authored numerous research papers exploring how these stressors affect aquatic ecosystems and has developed sustainable strategies to mitigate their impact. She is currently a Fulbright Scholar candidate for her postdoctoral research. Her current project explores the synergistic effects and interactions between chemical pollutants, microplastics, and climate change on fish models, including Nile Tilapia and Zebrafish.
