Edna Galindo Dellavalle, a doctoral candidate in Landscape Heritage Conservation, has combined her academic training with her passion for the arts and sciences to become a prominent cultural manager and the director of Noche Estelar. Originally from Morelos in Mexico, her career includes organizing art and science events throughout the state, as well as directing the Noche Estelar Festival, which promotes astronomy through a variety of activities. She has also been a key figure in science outreach, contributing to publications and media outlets, and giving talks and workshops. Her work extends to environmental protection and the preservation of the night sky, demonstrating her commitment to the community and the cultural heritage of Morelos.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Physics, for which she wrote a thesis titled "The Current Expansion of the Universe," and a Master of Science degree in Physical Sciences with a thesis in Astrophysics titled "Study of Tidal Force Interactions in the Jupiter-Europa System." Originally from Morelos, Mexico, her career includes organizing art and science events throughout the state, as well as directing the Noche Estelar Festival, which promotes astronomy through various activities. She has also been a key figure in science communication, collaborating with publications and media outlets, and giving talks and workshops. Recently, her work has expanded to environmental protection and the preservation of the night sky, collaborating with CeProBi to develop strategies for managing the nocturnal landscape, demonstrating her commitment to the community and the cultural heritage of Morelos.
