Pharmaceutical chemist who graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Sciences at UASLP. Specialty in chemical and biological sciences, and Master's and Doctoral studies in bioprocess sciences at UASLP. Member of National System Research of México level II. Actually is a Researcher for the Mexico-SECIHTI Program, in the Agriculture in Arid Zones Program (PAZA) at CIBNOR. Is member of the Immunology and Vaccinology Group at CIBNOR, her research focuses on the design, characterization, and evaluation of recombinant vaccines against infectious diseases produced in plants and microalgae. https://acortar.link/LnH4sR

PhD. Elizabeth Monreal Escalante is a pharmaceutical chemist who graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Sciences at UASLP. She completed a specialty in chemical, biological sciences and her master's and doctoral studies in bioprocess sciences at UASLP. She undertook two postdoctoral fellowships, one at IPICYT and another at the Institute of Biomedical Research at UNAM. She is a member of the SNI level II, the State System of Researchers of BCS, and the Potosina Network of Women for Science. Furthermore, she has published 60 articles in JCR journals, 3 book chapters, and over 10 outreach articles. She participates in human resource training by supervising undergraduate and graduate theses, as well as teaching graduate-level courses. She is a founding member of the outreach group "Inmunopeques" at CIBNOR.
Currently, she is a Researcher for the Mexico-SECIHTI Program, attached to the Agriculture in Arid Zones Program (PAZA) at CIBNOR. As a member of the Immunology and Vaccinology Group at CIBNOR, her research focuses on the design, characterization, and evaluation of recombinant vaccines against infectious diseases produced in plants and microalgae.
