About me

I’m an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Engineering at the German Jordanian University with 13 years of teaching experience. After a BSc in Pharmacy (University of Jordan) and industry work in regulatory affairs, I completed my PhD in drug delivery at UEA. My research centers on sustainable materials and technologies for mucosal and transdermal delivery, and I’m committed to mentoring women in science and embedding sustainability in education.

I have finished my BSc. in Pharmacy from Jordan University and worked in a pharmaceutical industry for regulatory affairs department. This has been followed with teaching and research assistance in pharmaceutical engineering department and continuing my PhD in drug delivery at UEA. I have interests in the contribution of all relevant capacity areas that drive the SDGs from the perspective of Pharmaceutical Engineering through research interests about technologies or materials that ensure safe and efficient drug delivery mainly across mucous membranes and skin. I have been teaching as a faculty member at German Jordanian University for almost 13 Years and i currently hold a rank of associated Professor. I am very keen to network and find opportunities that would enable realization of these research ideas and merge them in the education material for sustainability. I would like to always set a good example for girls in the science field despite huge responsibilities placed on the females in our society.
