About me

I work as an assistant professor in pharmaceutics with research interests focused on microneedle technology, transdermal drug delivery and monitoring, advanced drug delivery systems, and pharmaceutical formulation development. I obtained my PhD in 2016, and I have since contributed to research in transdermal delivery and innovative polymeric systems. In my work I aim to bridge pharmaceutical sciences and translational applications, with a particular interest in improving patient-centered drug delivery technologies. I also committed to excellence in higher education and academic development.

I work as an assistant professor in pharmaceutics whose academic and research work focuses on microneedle technology, transdermal drug delivery and monitoring, advanced drug delivery systems, and pharmaceutical formulation development. I obtained her PhD in 2016 and have since contributed to innovative research in transdermal therapeutics, polymeric delivery platforms, and patient-centered pharmaceutical technologies aimed at improving treatment effectiveness and accessibility.
My research interests combine fundamental pharmaceutics with translational applications, particularly in developing smarter and less invasive drug delivery approaches that enhance patient care. Alongside her scientific work, I Iam strongly committed to teaching excellence, curriculum enhancement, and continuous professional development in higher education.
I was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) by Advance HE. This internationally respected recognition reflects my achievement against the Professional Standards Framework for teaching and supporting learning in higher education, highlighting my commitment to high-quality academic practice and student success.
