About me
I am a chemistry technician with interest in water resource management and a passion in mentoring girls into the STEM field
I am a teacher by profession, having begun my career as a primary school teacher before progressing to secondary education. I am currently working at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). I hold a Master’s degree in Agriculture Education (Policy, Leadership and Management) and a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education (Chemistry). At present, I am pursuing a PhD in Applied Sciences (Water Resource Management) with the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). Previously, I studied with UNICAF University, undertaking a PhD in Education with a research focus on mentoring girls in STEM.
At LUANAR, I serve as a Chemistry laboratory technician. In this role, I support students in their practical sessions and provide analytical services to industry clients and staff members. My work involves conducting analyses of water, soil, plants, and food, thereby contributing to both academic learning and applied research.
