About me

Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics with over 10 years of academic experience in Sudan and Saudi Arabia. Specialized in Fractional Calculus, nonlinear dynamics, and stochastic modeling. Currently a displaced researcher in Uganda, focused on the mathematical modeling of epidemiological systems and seepage flow. Holder of a PhD from Sudan University of Science and Technology.

Dr. Fatma Abdalrhim Altegany is an Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics with extensive academic and research experience across Sudan and Saudi Arabia. She holds a PhD (2016) from Sudan University of Science and Technology, specializing in Fractional Calculus, differential equations, and mathematical modeling of seepage flow in porous media. Despite regional displacement, she remains an active researcher with peer-reviewed publications. Her work effectively bridges abstract mathematics with environmental and epidemiological modeling solutions.
