Florencia holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and is a Senior Research Associate at the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo, Uruguay. Her academic and professional background combines extensive expertise in molecular biology and genomics, with a particular focus on pathogen parasites. Her major research interest is to understand molecular mechanisms by which parasites cause disease.
