About me
Gebreil M. M. Gebreil is an Assistant Researcher in the Agricultural Microbiology Department at the National Research Centre (NRC), Cairo, Egypt. He specializes in industrial microbiology, environmental biotechnology, and enzyme technology, with a research focus on the discovery, production, optimization, and immobilization of microbial enzymes for sustainable industrial and agricultural applications.
His research integrates microbial biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, statistical experimental design, and advanced functional materials, including metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), to develop efficient and environmentally friendly biocatalytic systems. His current work emphasizes enzyme immobilization, microbial bioprocess optimization, biomass valorization, lignocellulosic biomass conversion, and the development of sustainable bio-based technologies for industrial applications.
Gebreil is actively involved in multidisciplinary research projects addressing industrial biotechnology, circular bioeconomy, and green manufacturing. His research interests also include artificial intelligence-assisted bioprocess optimization, microbial resource utilization, and the development of innovative biotechnological solutions that enhance process efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
He is committed to publishing high-quality scientific research, fostering academic collaborations, and translating laboratory-scale innovations into practical technologies that contribute to sustainable industrial development and environmental protection.
