About me
Medical entomologist specialized on malaria vectors control, Marcad-Plus postdoctoral fellow, OWSD Early Career Fellow.
I am a medical entomologist at the Laboratoire d'Écologie Vectorielle et Parasitaire, Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD), where I serve as a research assistant. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master's degree in Medical Entomology with a focus on malaria, both from UCAD. My master's studies were funded by the MCDC (Malaria Capacity Development Consortium) grant.
I was subsequently awarded a PhD fellowship through the MARCAD (Malaria Research Capacity Development in West and Central Africa) program. Currently, I am the recipient of two fellowships: a postdoctoral fellowship in the MARCAD-Plus project (Malaria and Neglected Tropical Disease Research Capacity Development in West and Central Africa) and an Early Career Fellowship with the OWSD (Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World).
I held the position of West African regional Coordinator of PAMCA-WiVC Pan African Mosquito Control Association-Women in Vector Control).
