I am a dedicated science and technology professional from Sri Lanka with strong academic and practical experience in computing and information systems. My interests include software development, database systems, and applied research that supports education, sustainability, and inclusive technological growth. I am committed to advancing women’s participation in science and technology and to using my skills to contribute to national and global development. Through OWSD, I aim to engage in collaboration, knowledge exchange, and initiatives that empower women scientists and strengthen research capacity in developing countries.
Since my early years, I have been captivated by the notion of crafting solutions that facilitate human tasks with efficiency and intelligence. I possess a penchant for methodical problem-solving and adhering to systematic procedures, and find joy in the intricacies of coding. My foundational knowledge in programming is rooted in Java, wherein I have acquired proficiency in its fundamental concepts.
