Inora Mazoio
About me
Inora is a Fulbright Scholar from Mozambique pursuing an M.Sc. in Agronomy and Horticulture at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She holds an MBA in Project Management and researches on improving food security in Sub-Saharan Africa through crop modelling, climate risk assessment, and data-driven agricultural decision-making. Her interests include artificial intelligence and predictive modelling for climate-resilient agriculture. Beyond research, Inora is passionate about science communication and hosts a podcast that highlights education, research, and the experiences of Mozambicans around the world. She is also committed to mentoring young scientists and advancing opportunities for women in STEM across the Global South, starting with Mozambique.
