About me
I am a computational chemist with an MPhil from KNUST, Ghana (First Class Honors), where I used DFT to study reaction mechanisms. I won 2nd place for a poster at the ACS Nigeria conference. Currently, I work remotely as a Research Consultant for a U.S.-based firm, drafting technical narratives for STEM professionals. I hold certificates in SciTinyML and ICTP software development, aligning my work at the intersection of AI and computational chemistry. I also volunteer with WiSTEM to support young women in science.
I am a computational chemist with an MPhil in Chemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, where I graduated with First Class Honors. My thesis focused on a DFT mechanistic study of dialkoxy methylenecyclopropane (DMCP) transformations work I have since presented as a poster at both the Women in Chemistry Network Conference and the ACS Nigeria International Chapter Symposium, where I won 2nd place for my poster on oxyallyl cation cycloadditions.
Currently, I work remotely as a Research Consultant for Klerconsult, a U.S.-based immigration firm, where I draft scientific white papers and technical narratives for National Interest Waiver petitions in STEM fields. I have also supervised undergraduate research in computational chemistry, including molecular docking and dynamics studies on bioactive compounds.
Beyond the lab, I have volunteered with the WiSTEM Girls Camp at KNUST, helping bridge the gap between high school and tertiary chemistry for young women. I hold certificates in SciTinyML (machine learning on low-power devices) and have participated in ICTP workshops on collaborative software development aligning my growing interest in artificial intelligence and computational chemistry.
