About me
Ecology and Conservation Ph.D. candidate dedicated to bridging biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Her research on anthropogenic impacts on migratory birds aims to inform coastal management policies. She has led socio-environmental projects impacting 24,000 people at Mount Namuli, focusing on natural resource governance and just livelihoods. She believes in science-driven conservation that is both biologically effective and socially equitable.
I am a researcher dedicated to integrating biodiversity conservation with sustainable human development. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Ecology and Conservation, where I am investigating the impact of anthropogenic factors on habitat selection by migratory birds, with the aim of informing environmental management and sustainability policies in coastal regions. My career has been marked by direct fieldwork and the coordination of community-based socio-environmental projects that have impacted 24,000 people in the vicinity of Mount Namuli, focusing on natural resource governance and the creation of livelihood alternatives that respect the balance of the ecosystem. I believe that science must walk hand in hand with communities. That is why my work seeks to propose conservation strategies that are biologically effective and socially just.
