About me

I am a PhD researcher specializing in arbovirology, with a focus on the molecular surveillance and epidemiology of neglected flaviviruses in Africa. My research centers on Wesselsbron virus, an understudied arbovirus affecting both livestock and humans, with the goal of improving early detection, understanding transmission dynamics, and strengthening public health preparedness.

I am a PhD researcher specializing in arbovirology, focusing on the molecular surveillance and epidemiology of neglected flaviviruses in Africa, particularly Wesselsbron virus. My work integrates field sampling, laboratory analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve early detection, understand transmission dynamics, and strengthen public health preparedness. I am committed to advancing research capacity and addressing emerging infectious disease challenges in resource-limited settings.
