
About me
Maria Victoria is a Colombian and Spanish citizen with a substantial and wide range of professional experience working with academic, non-profit, private and public institutions, in LA, the U.S. and Spain/Europe. Her work has ranged from engaging in policy design and implementation, to participating in community building and development interventions. She is an international consultant in evaluation at the IDB and USAID, and currently a consultant in knowledge management for the Latin American Center for Development Management-CLAD. She earned a Ph.D. in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh and an Advanced certificate in Latin American Social and Public Policy from the Center for Latin American Studies at the same University. Before that she studied at the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia where she graduated as Psychologist, and as Specialist in HR Management. She is a full member of the Red Colombiana de Mujeres Científicas, full member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD). She loves Yoga, believes in peace and longs for equality. Once upon a time she was a dancer, and deep in her heart she still is.
