About me

Mary Jemaiyo Kiplagat is a lab technician at University of Eldoret where she specializes in fisheries and aquatic sciences especially river ecosystem health with over 15 years of experience in the same field. she has spearheaded research on the influence of large mammalian herbivores dung input on nutrient release, algal biomass,growth and ecosystem metabolism in aquatic ecosystems. Mary holds a Master of Science in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences - Aquatic Science from University of Eldoret and is passionate to mentor the next generations of women in science. Outside of work she enjoys reading and hiking.
