About me

I am a PhD Candidate in Chemistry at the University of Yangon, Myanmar. My research focuses on analyzing the chemical profiles of natural and anaerobic coffee fermentation, as well as synthesizing caffeine-caffeic acid cocrystals. I am currently integrating in silico molecular docking into my work to study AChE interactions. As both a researcher and an educator, I am passionate about advancing computational chemistry while supporting the academic and residential lives of my students.

I am a dedicated PhD Candidate in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Yangon, Myanmar. With a strong foundation in natural product chemistry, my academic journey is driven by a passion for exploring the chemical complexities of agricultural products and advancing novel computational methodologies.

My current doctoral research encompasses two primary areas. First, I investigate the chemical profiles of natural and anaerobic coffee fermentation processes. This involves tracking the conversion of chlorogenic acid to caffeic acid and evaluating antioxidant activities utilizing techniques such as DPPH assays, TLC, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Second, I am actively engaged in the synthesis and characterization of caffeine-caffeic acid cocrystals.

To elevate my experimental research, I am expanding my expertise into computational chemistry. I integrate in silico molecular docking studies to investigate the potential interactions of my synthesized compounds with acetylcholinesterase (AChE). I am highly motivated to participate in international fellowships and research collaborations to gain advanced practical training in computational techniques and structural biology.

Beyond my scientific endeavors, I serve as a Dormitory Tutor at the Myeik. In this capacity, I am deeply committed to mentoring university students, overseeing their residential welfare, and supporting their academic development. I consistently strive to bridge rigorous scientific research and active community mentorship.
