About me

PhD in Automation and Control || Master's Degree in Mechatronic and Micro-mechatronic Engineering || Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering

Hello, I'm Mayra Yucely Beb Caal from Guatemala. I have a Ph.D. in control and automation from Bourgogne Franche-Comté University (BAC+8).

With a background in mechatronic engineering and a Baccalaureatus in Scientiis from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, I hold an International Master's degree in mechatronic and micro-mechatronic systems from esteemed institutions like Nile University (Egypt), University of Oviedo (Spain), and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques (France).

I have experience in robotics, computer vision, research, mechanical maintenance, and microscopy.

I take pride in my active membership and voluntary contributions to professional organizations such as IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), OWSD (Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World), SPIE (Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers), and OSA (The Optical Society).

I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology and making a positive impact in the field of robotics, computer vision, control and automation. Feel free to connect with me to discuss opportunities and collaborate on exciting projects!
