Dr. Mohamed Keshawy is an Assistant Professor at the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute (EPRI), Cairo, Egypt. He conducts research in environmental science, polymer chemistry, and advanced materials for water treatment. His work focuses on developing sustainable materials for removing hazardous pollutants from wastewater and designing efficient sorbents for oil spill cleanup.
His research combines natural polymers, agricultural waste, and nanomaterials to create environmentally friendly technologies that are both effective and economically viable. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in polymer synthesis, membrane technology, adsorption processes, and advanced material characterization.

He has also presented his research at national and international scientific conferences and actively collaborates with researchers across multidisciplinary fields.
His research interests include polymeric hydrogels, oil sorbent materials, membrane separation technologies, nanocomposites, and green materials for environmental applications. He is passionate about translating scientific discoveries into practical environmental solutions and is committed to developing innovative, scalable, and sustainable technologies that help protect water resources, reduce pollution, and support a cleaner and more sustainable future.
